NMS Regional POD Initiative Seeks Stores for Pilot Opportunity!
NMS is currently offering the opportunity for up to 25 stores to participate in a pilot for the Regional Print on Demand initiative beginning in October of 2012.
NMS would like to evaluate and fine-tune its new regional print-on-demand network service before the anticipated launch to the college store membership in 2013. The R-POD network is intended to fulfill orders with a two-day turnaround, while affording lower shipping costs through a regional print model.
To participate in this pilot, stores must have rights-negotiated content to print through the R-POD network and be willing to provide feedback. NMS does not currently provide any content licensing services.
Content will be submitted to NMS for inclusion into the POD catalog for reordering purposes, and can remain private (only accessible to your store), or public (accessible to everyone with access to the catalog) depending on the option you specify.
